Job summary

Fife Council is seeking an Assistant Cook at Oakley Campus to support school catering services. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a 38-week contract, centered on food preparation, service, and related kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Catering experience or a relevant qualification.
• Experience in school or institutional catering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverages and organise the service of food.
• Transport and serve meals; support kitchen and dining room duties, including washing up and cleaning.
• Complete required paperwork including electronic returns.
• Ensure meals are provided to pupils and staff throughout the school day.
