Job summary

SAR Academy in Riverdale, NY is seeking dedicated Kitchen Staff for the 2026/2027 school year to support daily food service operations across campuses. This part-time role reports to the Kitchen Manager and involves meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

You will work with a team to portion and serve nutritious meals to students and staff, follow food safety protocols, and assist with restocking and cleaning as needed throughout meal periods.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, cafeteria, or kitchen work preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (training provided as needed).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays, and work in a warm kitchen environment.
