Job summary

Orange Public Schools is hiring a Food Services Worker for the Grades 1 to 6 School Kitchen at Race Brook School, Orange, CT. Workdays follow the school calendar; start date is August 20, 2026. Hours are 9:00 AM–1:30 PM (4.5 hours daily), totaling 22.5 hours per week.

Union position with no health coverage; salary follows the union agreement and is paid bi-weekly. The role focuses on preparing and serving healthy lunches, maintaining a clean kitchen, cleaning dishes and trays, and

• Must be able to mult-task and maintain a pleasant, welcoming demeanor.
