Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group at South Orangetown Middle School is seeking a Food Service Worker to help serve healthy meals that fuel learning and fun for students and staff. This role offers family-friendly hours, with no nights or weekends and on-the-job training.

You will prep, portion, and serve meals, maintain clean serving stations, and follow food safety procedures while working with a friendly kitchen team. The position offers growth opportunities within the school nutrition program.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
