Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin Schools is seeking a part-time Child Nutrition Assistant to support school meal service. The position runs 10am–2pm, four hours per day, for 184 days annually, within the school environment.

The incumbent will prepare, cook, and serve meals, assist in baking, and handle cashier duties, while maintaining clean, sanitized food prep areas and supporting inventory and stocking tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Must be physically in the building to work the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve foods including baking, main dish, salad, dish room, and cashier duties.
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines; assist with inventory, storage, and stocking.
