Job summary

Nebo School District is seeking an Adult Sweeper to maintain a clean, safe facility for students, staff, and the public. The position carries a schedule of 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, 177 days per year, with a starting wage of $15.62 per hour and placement on the salary schedule reviewed by HR.

Experience in custodial work and a high school diploma are preferred; background clearance is required. This role reports to the Head Adult Sweeper and emphasizes safety, reliability, and attention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance Required.

Responsibilities

• Arranges furniture and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and special events.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize damage and liability.
• Attends in-service training for updated procedures.
• Cleans classrooms, offices, restrooms, gym, and other areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Performs custodial functions to support a safe, attractive facility.
• Reports vandalism or damage and coordinates corrective actions.
