Job summary

Nebo School District is seeking a Substitute Student Sweeper (Lane A) to help maintain a clean, safe school environment. The position pays $12.50 per hour and runs as needed for 177 days per year.

Applicants must be between 14 and 17 years old; there are no benefits with this position. Responsibilities include moving furniture, securing facilities, attending in-service training, and performing general custodial tasks across classrooms, offices, gym, and other areas.

Qualifications

• SKILLS: adhere to safety practices and operate custodial equipment.
• KNOWLEDGE: basic math, read procedures, write routine documents, multi-step instructions.
• ABILITY: schedule activities, data handling, work with diverse people, maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Arranges furniture and equipment for meetings, activities and events.
• Secures facilities to minimize damage and liability.
• Attends in-service training for new procedures.
• Cleans classrooms, offices, gym, and other areas to maintain sanitary, safe environments.
• Performs custodial tasks to support safe, attractive facilities.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Reports vandalism or issues for prompt corrective action.
