Job summary

Glendive Public Schools is seeking a dependable Part-Time Custodian at Washington Middle School to keep classrooms and facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, setting up spaces for events, and securing the building after shifts.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to manage time well, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Basic cleaning knowledge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Empty trash and restock supplies.
• Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events.
• Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs.
• Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas.
• Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs.
• Secure the building at the end of shifts.
