Glendive Public Schools is looking for dependable Substitute Custodians to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming whenever regular staff are unavailable. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active, and want to make a difference behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and restock supplies
• Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events
• Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas
• Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs
• Secure the building at the end of shifts
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable and flexible with scheduling
• Able to work independently and follow directions
• Good attention to detail and time management
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, but not required)
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical
• Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe learning environment
