Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as housekeeper or custodian, with school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily, including sweeping, mopping, wiping, and disinfecting.
• Empties all assigned trash containers daily.
• Checks restrooms between class changes and during lunches and stocks restrooms as needed.
• Cleans and mops all assigned restrooms as needed.
• Dusts horizontal surfaces weekly.
• Keeps building and grounds clean and free of trash throughout the day.
• Assists in cafeteria cleaning and trash removal as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of sidewalks, driveways, parking lot, and playground areas.
• Reports needed repairs to supervisors.
• Keeps inventory of supplies and requests needed items.
• Follows safety rules and proper procedures for the job.
