Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a part-time custodian at Brockbank Jr. High in Utah to support cleaning and maintenance across classrooms, offices, and hallways.

You will help secure the building after hours and assist with basic site upkeep, ensuring safe, clean environments for students and staff. No prior experience is required; the role requires a minimum age of 14, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and successful completion of a background check for applicants over 18.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check if over 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement is 14.
• High school diploma or GED preferred if over 18.
• No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with routine maintenance of school and district buildings.
• Cleans offices, classrooms, and hallways.
• Fills soap, paper towel, toilet paper and other dispensers.
• May remove graffiti and repair other acts of vandalism.
• Assist in restricting access by locking and unlocking doors.
• Performs other outside maintenance.
• Cleans up garbage, repairs furniture, lockers, doors, and small equipment.
• Involved with security of building after hours.
• Turns on/off security and locks/unlocks the building.
• Performs duties in a manner to maintain an 80% or higher VEKTR inspection.
