Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a part-time custodian to support the daily maintenance of school facilities in Holladay, Utah. The role includes cleaning classrooms and offices, stocking supplies, and ensuring secure building access during and after school hours.

You will work 15 hours per week, with a focus on reliability, safety, and basic upkeep. Training will cover cleaning chemicals and proper safety practices to maintain a clean, secure environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating and maintaining basic cleaning equipment.
• May perform minor adjustments to equipment.
• Understanding of proper use of age appropriate cleaning solvents.

Responsibilities

• Assists with routine maintenance of school and district buildings.
• Cleans offices, classrooms, and hallways.
• Fills soap, paper towel, toilet paper and other dispensers.
• May remove graffiti and repair other acts of vandalism.
• Restricts access by locking/unlocking doors.
• Performs other outside maintenance.
• Cleans up garbage, repairs furniture, lockers, doors, and small equipment.
• Involved with security of building after hours.
• Turns on/off security and locks/unlocks the building.
• Performs duties to maintain 80%+ VEKTR inspection.
