Grand Rapids Building Services Inc. is hiring a part-time custodian to support Wayland Union Schools on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month. The role runs from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm or 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm, in Plainwell, MI, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• Due to Michigan schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Mop floors and dust surfaces to keep building clean.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Remove trash and dispose properly.
• Follow GRBS cleaning procedures and respect the building map and shift.
