Job summary

Kyrene School District in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Crossing Guard to ensure student safety as they cross busy intersections during the commute to and from school.

The position is part-time (5 hours per week across 180 days per school year) and requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card. You will work with students, staff and community members, following district policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Ability to learn State laws and District policies.

Responsibilities

• Assures the safety of students when they cross busy intersections going to and from school.
• Monitor crosswalks and assist students in crossing in an orderly manner.
