Job summary

Spring ISD is seeking a part-time Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of students walking and biking to and from school in Houston, TX. This role reports to the Crossing Guard Coordinator and is non-exempt.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver’s license. Responsibilities include standing/walking and maintaining safe interaction with motorists in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Experience in related position or field preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety of students walking and biking to and from school.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; basic mobility.
• Maintain emotional control, interact safely with motorists and pedestrians.
