Amarillo is seeking a part-time School Crossing Guard to help children cross busy streets during peak school hours. You will operate an LED Stop Paddle and safety vest, count kids at your crosswalk, and report any maintenance needs for signs or crosswalks.

The role requires standing for extended periods and working in all weather conditions. In addition to a courteous presence at crosswalks, you will be responsible for on-site safety, coordinating with the School Crossing Guard Supervisor, and

Will work 45 min. morning and 45 min. afternoon schedule**REPORTS TO:**School Crossing Guard Supervisor**SALARY:**$9.00/hour ($27 per day)**SUMMARY**Under the general supervision of the School Crossing Guard Supervisor, this position is responsible for guiding and escorting children across marked crosswalks on busy streets with an LED Stop Paddle and safety vest during peak school hours.
