Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring for part-time Cook positions in Saginaw, MI. The role requires prior food service experience and ServSafe certification, with shifts 6:00 am–2:00 pm or 10:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour, with benefits such as free uniforms and meals and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience and ServSafe certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
