Job summary

Mansfield Public Schools in Mansfield, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Worker to join our food service team. This role covers 3.5 hours each day with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving daily menu items, following HACCP, safety and sanitation guidelines, and working cooperatively with staff and students. Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and the ability to carry out duties per the district’s cafeteria standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk during assigned shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Access all coolers, freezers, and stockrooms for necessary items.
• Good time management skills.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve daily menu items as required on production records.
• Ability to understand and follow established HACCP, safety, sanitation and food code regulations
• Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with co-workers, faculty and students
• Work responsibilities include: food production, dish room, cash handling, sweeping and general cleanup of cafeteria and kitchen
