Job summary

Fruitport High School in Michigan is seeking a Food Service Server/Pizza Station to support daily meal service in the school cafeteria.

You will participate in food preparation and serving, keep the kitchen clean, perform sanitation procedures, operate the POS register, count money, and maintain accurate production and inventory records as directed by the Head Cook. This part-time role follows the Master Agreement salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Previous quantity food service experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation and serving of food.
• Participates in cleaning the kitchen and related areas.
• Performs sanitation procedures.
• Operates a point of sale computer register and makes change.
• Counts money and completes daily sales reports. Inspects all equipment in the cafeteria area to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and notifies the head cook when repairs are needed.
• Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
• Maintains accurate production records conforming to federal/department guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Head Cook.
