Town of North Attleborough is seeking a Helper/Cashier for the AMVET Boulevard Elementary School cafeteria. The role supports the successful operation of the school cafeteria with positive customer service and adherence to relevant nutrition program regulations.

The position is full-time in title but 21.25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:15am to 1:30pm. Responsibilities include meal prep, serving line setup, cashiering, and safe food handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and serving line setup; receiving, cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, equipment and facilities.
• Serving food and assisting with record keeping and cashiering.
• Communicating effectively with staff, faculty, administration and students, and attending training as required.
