Job summary

Town of North Attleborough's cafeteria program at North Attleboro High School seeks a part-time Helper/Cashier to support daily operations. The role runs Monday through Friday from 9:45 to 1:30, totaling 3.75 hours per day, with responsibilities including meal prep, serving, cashiering, cleaning, and ensuring safety standards.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow district and state regulations. Salary/benefits per the NAFT Local 4292 agreement.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow local, state, and federal regulations for school food service.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must complete required training and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals, set up serving line, and assist with cleaning and sanitizing.
• Handle records and cashiering duties; communicate with staff, faculty, and students.
• Maintain high standards of nutrition, flavor, appearance, and presentation.
• Attend required trainings and promote excellent customer service.
