Job summary

Omaha Public Schools Norris Middle in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a part-time Cashier to join Nutrition Services. Location: Norris Middle, 5.5 hours per day from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. August through May when students are in session.

Starting date: Immediately. The cashier will handle cash, record daily meal sales, and assist with kitchen tasks as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable attendance, basic math, and knowledge of food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in cash handling or food service is preferred.
• Reliable attendance and good attendance history.
• Basic math skills and ability to count money accurately.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
