Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is hiring drivers/monitors to provide safe transportation for Marlborough Public Schools. You will assist students with entering and exiting vehicles, ensure proper seating, and maintain safety protocols on each route.

Responsibilities include monitoring behavior, communicating effectively with school staff and families, and adhering to policies outlined in training and handbooks. Valid license, CORI/SORI checks, and fingerprint tests are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license or ID.
• Must pass CORI, SORI, and fingerprint tests and random drug screenings.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
• Must be available for morning and afternoon routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students as needed, helping them enter and exit the vehicle and securely seat them.
• Monitor student behavior and provide guidance; report unsafe behavior to management.
• Communicate clearly in English with students, parents, teachers, and Van Pool staff.
• Operate the two-way radio system effectively.
• Install and secure car seats and booster seats as required.
• Follow policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook and training materials.
• Be available for both morning (5:45 a.m.–10:00 a.m.) and afternoon (1:00 p.m.–5:45 p.m.) routes.
• Adhere to directions from supervisors and cooperate with school staff.
