Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to transport youth and staff to school, activities, and events. You will operate a school bus, ensure passenger safety, and provide a reliable, positive experience for every rider while supporting Boys Town's mission.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid CDL with endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass an annual MVR check. Starting pay is competitive based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Previous driving experience required.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements and a good driving record.
• Pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check.
• Bus driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport youth and staff in a school bus according to scheduled routes.
• Monitor passenger safety and behavior while maintaining a secure environment.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Administer basic first aid and follow all safety procedures when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff about transportation and youth needs.
