Job summary

Snook ISD District Wide is hiring a part-time Bus Driver to operate the school bus on morning and afternoon routes, including extracurricular events. The role emphasizes safe student transport, vehicle checks, and adherence to routes and schedules.

Required Texas CDL with P and S endorsements; applicants must be at least 18 and pass federal DOT screenings and medical exams. Training on safety procedures and GPS navigation is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass USDOT alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use maps and GPS to follow routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus on assigned route following schedules.
• Transport students to extracurricular activities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Report accidents and vehicle issues promptly.
• Maintain student discipline and safety on bus.
