Rutherford County Schools East Rutherford High School - Bostic, North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver to safely transport students and comply with all state and local regulations.

Requirements include minimum 21 years old, HS diploma or GED, valid Class A or B with P and S endorsements, clean driving record, insurability, and the ability to pass background and pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a HS diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Class A or B with P and S endorsements and an insurable driving record.
• Must meet vision/hearing requirements and pass background and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to maintain safety and discipline on the bus and follow regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the school bus safely and in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections using the school form.
• Keep mirrors clean and properly adjusted at all times.
• Maintain routes and schedules as planned by the local school board.
• Report hazards and maintain bus cleanliness and discipline.
• Complete all required reports related to bus operations and discipline.
