Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is seeking a School Bus Route and Charter Driver to safely transport students and passengers along designated routes and charters. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, assist passengers including children and individuals with disabilities, and maintain accurate records while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires clear English communication, basic mechanical understanding for inspections, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not necessary.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by company policies.
• Must be able to work with children and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes & charters, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and incidents.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers.
