You will start mornings with pickup and transport students after school, with additional hours possible for field trips and events. No experience is required because expert training will help you become a safe and professional driver.

The role offers a part-time, flexible schedule with AM/PM routes, guaranteed minimum hours, and opportunities for advancement across 540 locations in the U.S. & Canada.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training and guidance provided to help you become a safe and professional First Student school bus driver.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes; occasional field trips and events.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seat belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report issues promptly and communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills while following safety standards.
