Job summary

First Student is hiring a Part-Time School Bus Driver in Columbus, NE. You will start students’ days with morning pickup and transport them home after school, with potential hours for field trips and events. No experience is required as training is provided to ensure you are safe and professional.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off (flexible).
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about delays or concerns.
