First Student, Inc. in Villa Park, IL is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers to start and end students' days with safe morning pickup and afternoon return. The role offers a flexible schedule with AM/PM routes and no nights or summers required.

Formación

• No experience required; training provided to earn CDL and endorsements.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to work part-time.
• Ability to supervise students and communicate with parents helpfully.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport students to and from school.
• Assist with boarding and disembarking; help students with belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and prevent distractions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
