First Student, Inc. is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Collinsville, IL. You will start mornings with pickup and transport students after school, with opportunities for field trips and special events throughout the day.

No experience is required to become a school bus driver; we provide comprehensive training and guidance to help you succeed. A valid driver’s license and compliance with safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; expert training provided.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about student behavior or delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
