Job summary

First Student Management LLC is seeking part-time School Bus Drivers in Council Bluffs, IA. You will start mornings with pickup and return students home in the afternoon, with opportunities for field trips and events. Training is provided; no experience required.

You must be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license for 3+ years, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and reliable transportation for students.

Qualifications

• Requires English proficiency.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
