Job summary

First Student Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers for the West Middlesex Area School District. You will start mornings with student pickups and transport them home after school; additional hours may come from field trips.

No experience is required as we provide training and support to help you obtain your permit. Benefits include $30.00 per hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for licensed drivers, CDL training, and health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
