Job summary

Beacon Mobility is hiring part-time school bus drivers to transport students safely to and from their destinations. The role requires maintaining punctuality, performing pre-trip inspections, and ensuring student safety per DOT regulations.

Training is provided for qualified individuals, with opportunities for CDL training through the program. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• The candidate should be punctual and professional.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to manage student behavior during routes.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the school bus.
• Conduct child checks post-route to ensure no students are left behind.
• Maintain vehicle within DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Possibly participate in CDL training opportunities.
