Job summary

North America Central School Bus in Topeka, KS is seeking part-time bus drivers to help transport students safely to and from school each day. You will drive morning and afternoon routes, assist with loading and unloading, read route sheets, and participate in safety meetings.

We offer paid CDL training with reimbursement, a casual work environment, paid holidays, 25 guaranteed hours per week plus opportunities for extra work, and special bonuses including a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a referral

Qualifications

• Must have a current valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Must be at minimum 21 years of age.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check, DOT physical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive morning and afternoon routes as a regular or spare driver.
• Assist students with loading and unloading.
• Read and follow street signs, route sheets and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
