North Kansas City is hiring a School Bus Driver to transport students safely to school and on activities. The role offers part-time or full-time flexibility, paid training, and weekly pay.

You’ll operate under NKC AST guidelines, maintain safety protocols, and communicate with staff and families as needed. Applicants should be at least 23, hold a valid license with endorsements, pass required exams and background checks, and complete ELDT training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with proper class and endorsements.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record as evidenced on MVR.
• Pass Missouri Bus Driver Physical Exam and FMSCA Drug Screen.
• Pass background checks including fingerprinting and CPR/First Aid.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport students to and from school and on outings.
• Assist students in and out of the vehicle, not leaving the driver’s seat until at school.
• Load, unload and secure students at school only.
• Complete daily driving paperwork and pre-trip inspections.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled and report maintenance issues.
• Use company electronics as directed and maintain professional communication.
• Comply with traffic laws and company guidelines, performing duties safely.
• Interact professionally with students and staff and perform additional duties as needed.
