Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug test required.
• CDL license with endorsements required or able to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers in buses with manual or automatic transmissions.
• Drive regular routes, spares, or charters.
• Read street signs, route sheets and maps.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections including child checks.
• Assist students in loading and unloading.
• Communicate with school personnel, parents and students.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Conduct emergency evacuations from the bus.
• Open/close service doors and navigate steps.
• Clean interior and exterior of the bus.
• Perform other duties as required by contract.
