Job summary

GREEN Charter Schools is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver for the 2025-2026 school year. 4 hours per day (2 hours AM, 2 hours PM) on the district calendar. Air brake endorsement required. Transport students safely between campuses and events and perform daily vehicle inspections.

Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+, pass a SLED background check, hold a SC CDL with P, S endorsements and Air Brake, and pass DOT drug/alcohol testing and DOT physical.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
SLED background check required.
18 years or older and SC School Bus Driver's Certificate.
Valid SC CDL with P, S and Air Brake endorsements.
DOT Drug/Alcohol Testing and DOT Physical required.

Responsibilities

Transport students to and from GREEN school campuses and events.
Assist students while boarding and alighting the bus, including disabled students.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
Maintain discipline and safety on the bus.
Keep accurate time sheets and route records.
Maintain clean bus interior and communicate with staff as needed.
