Job summary

South Lane School District is seeking a school bus driver for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is part-time, 4 to 6 hours per day, 183 days per year, with starting date immediately.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL, Medical Examiner's Certificate, and Oregon Pupil Transportation Certificate or be able to obtain them within district timeframes. A valid First aid Card is also required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL, Medical Examiner's Certificate, and Pupi Transportation Certificate or ability to obtain them within District time frames.
• First aid Card is required.
• Ability to operate any and all district buses and bus equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate district buses and bus equipment safely and efficiently.
• Drive safely under time constraints, student behavior, hazards and traffic demands.
• Maintain punctuality and pace activities to meet time schedules.
• Represent the district's objectives of courtesy and responsibility to the public.
• Collaborate with diverse students, staff and community populations.
