DOT compliance and safety are priorities; candidates must be at least 21, pass a DOT medical exam and background check, and hold a valid license for 3+ years. Training is paid and provided by Harlow.

Qualifications

• DOT medical exam and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Background check required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students following traffic laws and school rules.
• Operate the bus in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Communicate safety expectations to students and staff.
• Interact with parents to support student behavior.
• Assist students with boarding, including wheelchairs or adaptive needs.
• Conduct daily bus inspections and basic maintenance.
