Job summary

DS Bus South LLC is seeking a Part-time School Bus Monitor to assist students with boarding and alighting, helping ensure their safety and allowing the driver to focus on driving. You will greet students, support them as needed, and perform routine safety checks on every trip.

Compensation during training is $8.00 per hour. After training, pay ranges from $11.26 to $13.46 per hour depending on experience and DOE guidelines. Beacon Mobility backs a safety-first approach with patient, caring staff.

Qualifications

• Assist students boarding and alighting safely.
• Maintain a safe environment on the bus.
• Provide courteous, friendly interactions with students.

Responsibilities

• Help the Driver focus on driving responsibilities.
• Greet students in a pleasant manner.
• Help students as necessary.
• Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.
• Perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty.
• Always maintain a safe environment on the bus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
