DATTCO in North Smithfield, RI is hiring a part-time Ride School Bus Aide. You will help a special needs student ensure safe loading and unloading from the bus and support the student per their transportation plan.

No experience required; we provide free personalized training. Work is 10–20 hours weekly with split shifts, evenings, weekends, and paid holidays. Great for those seeking flexible, entry-level transportation work.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Aides are assigned to assist a special needs child or children during their transportation to and from school.
• Assist the child with entering and exiting the bus.
• Assist the child with any other accommodations included in the student's transportation plan.
• Encourage the child to remain safe and follow the bus rules.
• Provide verbal redirection and support to the child.
