Job summary

EDU Healthcare in Mecklenburg County, NC is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver individualized therapy to students two days a week.

You will evaluate, diagnose, develop IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain progress records. This school-based role offers built-in holidays and the support of a therapist-owned organization.

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged; active NC license required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active NC SLP license or eligibility to start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports per school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development.
