Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a licensed speech language pathologist to provide diagnostic evaluation, develop IEPs, and implement therapy for students within the district.

Under moderate supervision, you will administer tests, provide AAC support, collaborate with staff and families, and maintain compliant documentation to support student progress.

This full-time, 10-month position emphasizes evidence-based practice and a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology is required.
• NCBOESLPA certification required/preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Administer and interpret speech-language assessments.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language disorders.
• Develop and implement speech-language intervention plans.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings and develop IEPs and intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with laws and district policies.
