Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a part-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support a private K-12 school in Pensacola. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote communication skills in the classroom.

The ideal candidate holds FL state licensure, ASHA certification, and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• FL State licensure as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA unless CF.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of documentation practices is a plus.
• Dedication to culturally competent, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based team to support classroom participation.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Attend IEP and school-based meetings and contribute to professional development.
