Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Part-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support a private school with 22-30 hours per week, with potential to increase to 37.5 hours. The role focuses on assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with educators.

Requirements include FL state licensure, ASHA CCC-SLP (unless CF). Experience in private practice or outpatient settings is preferred. The position is in-person in downtown Pensacola.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• FL State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA unless CF.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus.
• Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language pathology interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based team to support classroom participation.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Educate parents, teachers, and staff on strategies to facilitate carryover into the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records including session notes and billing documentation.
• Stay current with research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards.
