Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist for a part-time contract serving JFK Middle School and Jackson Street Elementary in the greater Northampton, MA area.

Choose any three days per week (up to 18 hours total) with a caseload of 11–15 students, supporting their participation in school routines and activities, across two buildings. Potential for extended placement through the school year.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain.
• School-based physical therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage a dynamic, multi-building caseload.
• Compassionate, student-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized physical therapy plans.
• Provide A, B, and C grid services across two schools.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough records.
• Encourage student independence and functional mobility.
