Job summary

KU Medical Practice Association is seeking a part-time School Based Health Care (SBHC) Project Coordinator to collaborate with Haysville High School on a universal primary prevention program. The role includes coordinating activities, supporting staff, and ensuring fidelity under supervision from the KU SBHC psychology team.

The position offers a flexible 4 hours per week schedule, with hours aligned to school in-session times.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health related field preferred.
• Experience with adolescents and working in schools preferred.
• HIPAA/FERPA knowledge and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and evaluate SBHC program activities with the SBHC team.
• Lead classroom educational activities with HHS students and support staff.
• Participate in training and supervision to implement programs with fidelity.
• Develop and deliver quarterly in-service trainings for HHS staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with school district and SBHC staff and supervisors.
