Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Senior Projects Coordinator for Behavioral Health in Kansas City, MO. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a 40-hour workweek, located at UH Behavioral Health.

The coordinator will plan, coordinate, and support implementation and integration of quality improvement projects, supervise staff, and collaborate with unit leadership to enhance delivery of behavioral healthcare services to complex populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum two years experience with chronically ill and complex populations.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Superior verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with hospital staff and multicultural clients.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Complete required orientation and leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support improvement projects in Behavioral Health.
• Manage Project Coordinator staff as assigned.
• Support new and existing department projects focusing on quality behavioral healthcare.
• Assist unit staff with complex patient care needs.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide ongoing staff training with leaders and educators.
• Apply clinical expertise to ensure safe patient care and evidence-based practices.
