Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes is hiring a School Based Counseling (SBC) Clinician for a 10-month, part-time role in New York. You will assess youth and families and deliver quality mental health services within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure within one year. A valid NYS license is preferred; license types include LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT. Opportunity for growth and meaningful impact are featured in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field required.
• NYS Professional License in area of study preferred upon hire and required after one year (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW/LMFT).
• At least 1 year of clinician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of counseling services, advocacy, and payment processes preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administers clinical assessments with local entities serving children and families.
• Provides individual, family, or group counseling as needed.
• Completes case paperwork according to department procedures.
• Carries a caseload based on program needs.
• Prepares timely statistical and written reports.
• Collaborates with CPS as needed.
• Maintains license and stays current with evidence-based treatment.
• Notifies PCP as needed regarding counseling.
• Supports agency core competencies and teamwork.
• Attends staff meetings and clinical supervision.
